Clinical Intern

Gema is a native of Costa Rica who calls North Carolina home. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Life Coaching and is currently pursuing a Master's in Social Work from Liberty University. 

As an accredited Life Coach, speaker, and educator who has served the 
Jacksonville community for thirteen years, she has developed a unique understanding of the community's challenges and struggles. Gema has a particular focus on religious trauma, military lifestyle, marriage, parenting, relationships, and divorce. She practices trauma-sensitive and queer-affirming life coaching and is committed to helping individuals achieve personal growth and fulfillment. As a confidante and ally, she works with her clients to identify their strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop strategies to improve their relationships and overall well-being using holistic methods. Her biggest passion is supporting and empowering individuals to overcome obstacles and move forward on their life's journey.
