Alicia Snell, MS, LCMHCA, RYT
Clinical Mental Health Counselor
Alicia is a third culture kid who was born in Florida but spent her formative years overseas in Belgium. She is a Navy veteran and graduated from the United States Naval Academy with a bachelor’s degree in International Relations. Her post military life includes work as a photographer and yoga teacher. Alicia uses her rich background to bring mindfulness and creativity to client-centered counseling sessions.
Alicia earned her graduate studies in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Wake Forest University and completed her clinical training at Thrivemind. She is also a 500-hr Registered Yoga Teacher with the Yoga Alliance and uses mindfulness and grounding techniques to inform her counseling practice. Alicia uses a person-centered approach to help clients with challenges dealing with life transitions, depression, anxiety, military culture, military family, pregnancy, parenthood, spirituality, and other concerns.
Alicia is a member of the North Carolina Counseling Association and the Counseling Academic and Professional Honor Society International.
